Israeli Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon Kill 9, Injure 16

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that at least nine individuals were killed and 16 others were injured following Israeli airstrikes on areas in the southern part of the country. This report is based on data published by Mehr News Agency, quoting Al Jazeera network.
Seven of the fatalities occurred in an Israeli attack on the town of Nabatiyeh in southern Lebanon. The Ministry of Health further stated that two more people were killed and 14 others injured in Israeli attacks on the towns of Qlayleh and Shwakin.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health also issued a statement reporting the injury of two volunteers from the country’s Red Cross. According to the ministry, this incident occurred after the Israeli army attacked an ambulance in the Majdal Zoun region.
In its statement, Lebanese health officials condemned the continued attacks on relief forces and appealed to international forums and authorities to intervene immediately to halt Israeli aggressions against rescue and emergency medical teams.
