Israeli Lawmaker Warns Hezbollah Attacks Signal Larger Escalation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, an Israeli Knesset member has warned that the recent extensive rocket fire from Hezbollah signals a prelude to a larger event. Oren Hazan, a member of the Israeli Knesset, speaking to Israel’s i24NEWS, suggested that the scale of Hezbollah’s bombardment indicates the potential for a more significant escalation.
Hazan emphasized that Israel must remain on full alert and vigilant, acknowledging that these missile attacks by Hezbollah are not the end of the matter and could indeed be the beginning. He further noted that Hezbollah has, for the first time, officially declared war against Israel and given it a name, which he believes signifies that the events of Wednesday could become a daily pattern in the ongoing conflict.
The Lebanese Islamic Resistance, as part of its “Assault of the Eater” operations, launched a broad wave of missile attacks targeting military bases and Israeli settlements in the north and depth of occupied Palestine. The Israeli army radio acknowledged that Hezbollah fired over 100 missiles towards occupied territories during this wave of attacks.
