US Media Analyzes Futility of Assassination Attempts Against Iranian Officials

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the American media outlet The New York Times, following the announcement of the martyrdom of Ali Ardeshir Larijani, Secretary of Iran‘s Supreme National Security Council, analyzed that the objectives the Zionist regime seeks through these reprehensible actions will not lead to any conclusion.
The New York Times wrote in this regard: The assassination of Larijani raises the question of whether Israel is killing this Iranian official because it believes it is the surest way to achieve its military objectives, or simply because it can carry out such acts. This approach carries the risk of unpredictable backlash.
The analysis by the American media outlet continued: The governance structure in Iran is ideological. This means that while the entire structure might depend on a single individual or a group of people, fundamentally, what is powerful is the ideology within people’s minds, which causes them to fight and not flee, even knowing they might be assassinated or martyred. Some believe that Iran’s structure is such that Israel can never bring it to the point of collapse. In chess, there are foolish players who think killing the king is enough to win. However, in the case of ideology, every player plays a crucial role on the battlefield.
This development comes as Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, and Brigadier General Gholamreza Soleimani, head of Iran’s Basij Resistance Force, attained the great station of martyrdom following the aggression by the Zionist regime and the United States.
