According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, North Korean state media, citing Mehr News Agency, has released images of the country’s leader and his daughter atop a tank, announcing tactical drills involving infantry and tank units.
Kim Jong Un visited a training base to observe tactical exercises conducted by the army’s infantry and tank units.
The drills reportedly aimed to assess the combat readiness of tank crews, their battlefield cooperation capabilities, and the successful execution of various tactical missions by all participating units.
During his visit, the North Korean leader emphasized the need for the People’s Army to organize combat and training exercises more intensively and actively to enhance its fighting capacity, enabling it to swiftly and accurately accomplish any combat mission under all circumstances.
These drills occur as tensions on the Korean Peninsula have significantly escalated due to joint military exercises between the United States and South Korea, which commenced on March 9 and are scheduled to conclude on March 19.
