Gaza War Death Toll Surpasses 72,000 as Health Ministry Reports Latest Casualties

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that seven martyrs and 25 injured individuals were transported to hospitals in the enclave over the past 48 hours. The ministry indicated that among the deceased, six were new casualties, and one individual succumbed to pre-existing severe injuries.

The Gaza Health Ministry emphasized that a number of victims remain trapped under rubble and in inaccessible areas. Rescue teams have been unable to reach them due to prevailing conditions.

The ministry further stated that since the announcement of a ceasefire on October 11, 929 individuals have been martyred and 2,811 injured. The bodies of 781 martyrs have also been recovered from under the rubble.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the overall death toll from the Israeli regime’s war against Gaza since October 7, 2023, has now risen to 72,938 martyrs and 172,919 injured.
