Hezbollah Fighters Repel Israeli Advance in Southern Lebanon, Tanks Damaged

Hezbollah forces announced Tuesday morning they thwarted an Israeli military attempt to advance into the Marjayoun district, specifically in the areas of Hadeetha and Al-Bayyadah. The Lebanese resistance movement reported destroying Israeli military vehicles and forcing a withdrawal.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hezbollah‘s military wing announced on Tuesday morning that its fighters confronted Israeli soldiers attempting to advance in the Hadeetha area, located in Marjayoun. They also foiled an enemy military plan to push into the Al-Bayyadah region, near Tyre.

Hezbollah stated that its combatants detonated explosives in the path of the advancing Israeli soldiers towards Hadeetha, resulting in the destruction of two armored vehicles and halting the progress. One Merkava tank was targeted by an Ababil suicide drone, and Israeli soldiers faced a barrage of rockets and mortar shells.

Subsequently, two more Merkava tanks were targeted by Ababil drones in the Al-Baloa area of Hadeetha. In the northern part of the Al-Bayyadah region, a Merkava tank was struck by a Hezbollah missile, forcing the Israeli forces to retreat.
