Lavrov: Israel Opposes Iran-Arab Ties; U.S. Holds Dual Stance

Lavrov further emphasized that there is no evidence suggesting Iran’s intent to develop nuclear weapons, characterizing the West’s position as an ongoing effort to maintain its global hegemony.
These remarks from Lavrov come as Russian President Vladimir Putin, while highlighting his country’s close ties with Iran, commented that the United States is currently facing a critical challenge in resolving the Iran crisis and is compelled to direct its full attention to this dossier.
Putin noted that Russia maintains a close relationship with Iran and that Moscow is capable of assisting in resolving the crisis related to Iran’s nuclear program.
