Russia Denounces Ukraine as Terrorist State Following Azov Sea Cargo Ship Attack

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia has characterized the recent drone attack on cargo ships as irrefutable proof of the terrorist nature of the regime in Kyiv. Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the targeting of the Natra and Circon vessels by Ukrainian drones underscores this assertion.

Russia is reportedly maintaining close communication with the Azerbaijani Embassy in Moscow and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan concerning the incident. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that two foreign cargo ships carrying 25 Azerbaijani citizens were targeted by drone attacks, leading to five fatalities and three injuries.

Earlier reports from Azerbaijani media indicated that five sailors from the country had been killed in drone attacks on grain-carrying vessels in the Sea of Azov.
