Trump Calls for Iran’s Return to Negotiation Table After Missile Strikes

U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that Iran’s missile launches are sufficient and has called on both sides to return to the negotiation table to finalize an agreement. Trump indicated that a deal with Iran was close to being reached prior to recent developments.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump stated in an interview with Fox News, “I say to Iran, you have fired your missiles, and that is enough.” He further urged both parties to de-escalate tensions and “return to the negotiation table and finalize the agreement.” Trump claimed that prior to these developments, the parties were close to reaching an agreement. The U.S. President also asserted, “I wanted to say that the agreement with Iran will be signed on Monday. Maybe Tuesday, maybe Wednesday.” He added that the U.S. military is on high alert. Trump further claimed that he was not pleased with Israel’s attacks on the southern suburb of Beirut, asserting that this attack occurred without his coordination. The U.S. President concluded by stating that Iran’s attacks do not help the negotiation process.
