Russia Warns of Western Anti-Iran Moves at IAEA Board of Governors Meeting

Russia has cautioned that Western nations may attempt to shift blame for aggression against Iran during the current International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors meeting. Moscow asserts that responsibility for any repercussions lies with the aggressors, not the target.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia‘s Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna, stated on his social media account on Monday that the United States and the Zionist regime have acted aggressively against Iran, disregarding international norms and laws. He emphasized that accountability for aggression and its consequences cannot be transferred from the aggressor to the victim.

Ulyanov further elaborated, “However, it is highly probable that some countries will attempt to do just that during the current session of the IAEA Board of Governors. They intend to present a distorted picture of events.”
