CNN Reports US Intercepted No Iranian Missiles

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, CNN has reported, citing an American official, that claims made by Israel regarding the U.S. intercepting Iranian ballistic missiles fired towards Israel are false. The television network’s report indicated that the U.S. military did not intercept any of the Iranian missiles launched overnight.

This assertion comes despite an earlier claim made by Jennifer Jacobs, senior White House correspondent for CBS, on social media platform X. Jacobs had stated, according to a U.S. official, that the U.S. military did not participate in Israel’s attacks against Iran, which were described as the first attack since the ceasefire. The Trump administration reportedly took no defensive action to protect Israel from Iranian missiles.
