Cuba’s President Accuses US of Seeking Destabilization and Economic Control

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly stated his intention to address Cuba after resolving issues with Iran. In a recent address, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel outlined what he described as the United States’ plans for his country. He asserted that Washington’s objectives include either instigating chaos and social unrest in Cuba, attempting to gain control over the nation’s economy, or resorting to military aggression.
These claims come amid escalating hostile actions by the United States against the Cuban government. The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced its decision to place Cuban President Díaz-Canel and four other individuals within the country on its sanctions list. Among those designated is Alejandro Castro Espín, the son of former Cuban President Raúl Castro.
