Hezbollah Thwarts Israeli Advance, Downs Drone in Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hezbollah announced in a statement released early Thursday morning that it successfully prevented an advance by Israeli soldiers in the Tair Harfa axis towards Wadi Hassan by executing a precise ambush and detonating multiple explosive devices. The operation, which occurred at 1 AM on Thursday, resulted in the destruction of several armored vehicles and confirmed casualties among enemy soldiers. Hezbollah stated that in addition to the destruction of multiple military vehicles, all personnel on the patrol sustained confirmed casualties, and the enemy’s advance along this axis was completely halted.

Hezbollah also reported the downing of an Israeli army drone, a Hermes 450 “Zik” model, with a surface-to-air missile over the Al-Khardali region in southern Lebanon as part of its defense against Israeli aggression.
