Lebanon Reports 30 Israeli Soldiers Killed Amid Escalating Cross-Border Attacks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli occupation forces have continued their aerial assaults, targeting extensive areas within cities and towns in southern Lebanon, as well as the Baalbek region in the country’s east. These strikes follow earlier bombardments by Israeli warplanes targeting areas between the towns of Tyre Dibba and Maarakeh.
Lebanese sources also reported that hostile Israeli aircraft attacked the heights of the town of Nabi Sheet in the Baalbek region. Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Beqaa reported that this was the second Israeli airstrike in recent hours targeting the heights of Nabi Sheet. Israeli aircraft also struck the town of Al-Abbasiya in southern Lebanon.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in southern Lebanon further announced that Israeli warplanes attacked the town of Zibqin in the Tyre district. Al Mayadeen also reported an Israeli drone attack in the Al-Housh area of Tyre. According to Lebanese sources, Israeli warplanes conducted several airstrikes on the city of Nabatieh.
The Israeli military, while claiming operational control over the Wadi al-Salouqi area in southern Lebanon, targeted the villages of Majdal Zoun and Jebshit with its airstrikes. Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced the downing of an Israeli drone over the heights of Nabi Sheet. In response to Hezbollah’s operations in the area, Israeli warplanes attacked twice.
Hezbollah Lebanon, in a statement concerning the incident, declared: “Our fighters shot down a Heron 1 drone belonging to the Israeli enemy army in the skies of the Nabi Sheet area in Beqaa with a special missile.” The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon issued another statement asserting that it targeted the Jal Al-Hammar base south of the town of Adaysah with two suicide drones.
The Israeli military stated that since the beginning of last March, 30 Israeli soldiers, including officers and personnel, have been killed, and 1302 others have been injured. In a related development, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that in continuation of the Israeli regime’s aggressions against Lebanon since March 2nd, approximately 3711 Lebanese have been martyred and 11483 injured.
