Trump Calls Iranian Foreign Minister’s Deal Tweet Positive, Claims Secret Apology

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he found a tweet from Iran’s Foreign Minister concerning a deal to be “very positive.” This statement followed Trump’s reposting of a tweet by Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister.
Axios reported that Trump, in his characteristic habit of relaying unsubstantiated statements, added that Iran had “secretly apologized for providing incorrect information about the deal.” He also asserted his belief that the agreement could be signed by the end of the week or on Monday.
The U.S. President further claimed to have requested public clarification regarding official reports from Iranian media about receiving billions of dollars in frozen Iranian assets immediately after the agreement’s signing.
