Top Israeli Official Claims Trump Deceived Israel on Iran Deal

A senior Israeli official has alleged that former U.S. President Donald Trump misled Israel regarding the nuclear agreement with Iran, stating that the deal is detrimental to Israeli interests and that Tehran is receiving financial benefits while strengthening its missile capabilities.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth has reported that a senior official in the Israeli regime claims the agreement between the United States and Iran is unfavorable and that no one is satisfied with it.

The official added that it is widely understood that this agreement is not beneficial for Israel and harms its interests. He further expressed concern that Israel cannot influence this process, stating, “Trump deceived us. We are shocked. They are giving money to the Iranians, and this country achieves whatever it wants.”

The official asserted that Iran is bolstering its missile power, which will necessitate significant expenditure by Israel to acquire interceptor missiles. He noted that Trump wishes for these circumstances to conclude and is consulting with various parties, excluding Israel.

These remarks from the senior Israeli official come at a time when historical patterns indicate that hostile stances adopted by Tel Aviv and Washington, along with their aggressions against Iran and the broader region, have consistently been coordinated.
