Wall Street Journal Highlights Shifting Trump Stance on Israel

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lawrence Norman, a correspondent for The Wall Street Journal, pointed out and satirized Trump’s receding claims concerning the Israeli regime in a post on his X account on Sunday.
The Wall Street Journal correspondent stated that within a span of two weeks, Trump’s position has changed from asserting that ‘Lebanon is separate from the issue of Iran’ to ‘Lebanon is involved, but Israel has the right to respond.’ Subsequently, his stance evolved to ‘Lebanon is involved, but I do not think Israel has the right to respond, because we must conclude the agreement.’
This claim by Trump comes as various sources have emphasized that the Israeli regime’s attacks on Beirut are coordinated with Trump. However, following these events, a ‘good cop, bad cop’ dynamic has immediately emerged, with Trump attempting to distance himself from the actions of the Zionists.
