Slovak PM Criticizes EU’s Ukraine Support Over Domestic Issues

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico expressed disappointment that the European Union prioritizes aiding Ukraine over addressing the concerns of its own citizens. He announced plans to raise the issue of compensation for military aid previously sent to Ukraine at an upcoming EU summit.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico stated on Sunday that he is disheartened by the European Union’s focus on supporting the conflict in Ukraine, even to the last Ukrainian soldier and the last Euro, rather than tackling the domestic problems faced by European citizens. He confirmed that at the next European Union meeting, he will bring up the matter of receiving compensation for the equipment and weaponry that the previous Slovak government provided to Ukraine.
