US Intelligence Warns Netanyahu May Undermine Iran Deal, Report Says

U.S. intelligence agencies have warned the Trump administration that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could attempt to undermine efforts toward a lasting peace agreement with Iran, according to reports. The warning comes amid ongoing discussions regarding a potential ceasefire and U.S. demands concerning the Lebanese front.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. intelligence agencies have cautioned the Trump administration that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu might work to weaken initiatives aimed at achieving a stable peace agreement with Iran. This information was published by Al Jazeera, citing a report from The Washington Post based on statements from American officials.

Concurrently, Israeli Channel 12 reported that discussions concerning a ceasefire and the United States’ demands related to the Lebanese front are expected to lead to a phone conversation between U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Furthermore, an advisor to the Israeli Prime Minister’s office claimed on Friday in an interview with RIA Novosti that occupation forces would remain in southern Lebanon for as long as Israeli interests necessitated their presence.
