Islamic Jihad’s Military Wing Announces Martyrdom of Three Fighters in Jenin

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine, Saraya al-Quds, has announced with pride and honor the martyrdom of three of its fighters, dedicating their sacrifice to the Palestinian people and the Arab and Islamic nations. This announcement comes amidst ongoing resistance efforts in the region.
Among the fallen is Field Commander Qais Ibrahim Bitawe, known as Abu Hamza, recognized as one of Saraya al-Quds’ most prominent commanders in the West Bank. Also martyred were fighters Ahmed Yaqoub Turkman and Basel Turkman, both active members of Saraya al-Quds in the Jenin battalion.
Saraya al-Quds stated that these three fighters achieved martyrdom after a path filled with jihad and resistance. Their deaths occurred as a result of what the statement described as a cowardly assassination operation carried out by enemy aircraft, which targeted a house in the Harsh Al-Saada area of Jenin on the evening of Friday, August 28, 2026.
The statement emphasized that the Quds Brigades remain steadfast on the path of jihad and resistance until liberation and return. The movement reiterated its commitment to its cause, undeterred by such actions.
