Israeli Minister Ben-Gvir Rejects Trump’s Potential Demands on Lebanon, Calls for Unrestricted Military Action

Israeli Internal Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has defiantly stated that any potential demand from former U.S. President Donald Trump for Israel to cease operations in Lebanon would be met with a firm ‘No,’ advocating for the entirety of Lebanon to become a direct target for the Israeli army.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Internal Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has issued a provocative statement asserting that Lebanon should become a ‘play area’ for the Israeli army and that no limitations from the United States against Israeli military operations in Lebanon should be accepted.

Ben-Gvir added that if former President Donald Trump were to instruct Prime Minister Netanyahu to withdraw from Lebanon, the response should be a direct refusal: ‘Mr. President, no!’ He further declared that no distinction should be made between Lebanon and Hezbollah, insisting that all of Lebanon’s territory must become a direct target for the Israeli army without exception.

In a statement highlighting the nature of the Israeli regime, Ben-Gvir stated, ‘Perhaps a thousand Lebanese mothers will cry, but not even one Israeli mother should cry!’ He emphasized that the priority is to protect Israelis, even at the cost of Lebanese civilian lives.

It is important to note that Iran’s firm conditions in any agreement with the United States include a halt to fighting on all fronts, particularly in Lebanon, and a withdrawal of the Israeli regime. However, Trump’s stances against Netanyahu and his opposition regarding Lebanon appear more as a division of labor between Washington and Tel Aviv than genuine disagreement.
