US Secretary of State to Visit UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will undertake a visit to the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Bahrain between June 23 and June 25. The announcement, citing data released by the Mehr News Agency and the U.S. Department of State website, indicates the trip will span Tuesday through Thursday.
During his engagements, the Secretary of State is slated to discuss a wide array of regional priorities. These include a memorandum of understanding with Iran, efforts aimed at ensuring full, free, and secure passage through the Strait of Hormuz, and the paramount importance of peace and stability within the region. These discussions are expected to cover key strategic interests and geopolitical dynamics affecting the Persian Gulf area.
Furthermore, in Bahrain, the U.S. Secretary of State will convene a meeting with members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The agenda for this meeting includes deliberations on shared priorities and collaborative initiatives across the broader region, reinforcing diplomatic ties and addressing common challenges.
