Deadly Fire at Indian Training Center Claims at Least 14 Lives
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a devastating fire has swept through a training center and pet shop in the Aliganj area of Lucknow, northern India, with authorities confirming at least 14 fatalities. The blaze occurred in Uttar Pradesh state.
Brajesh Pathak, the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, stated that the fire claimed the lives of at least 14 individuals. He noted that the majority of the victims were students aged 16 and 17 who were inside the building when the incident unfolded.
During the harrowing event, several individuals trapped by the flames jumped from windows in a desperate attempt to save their lives. Many of those who leaped to escape the fire sustained severe injuries.
Officials have cautioned that the death toll may rise as rescue and recovery operations continue. The exact cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
