Syrian Foreign Minister Discusses Regional Developments, Bilateral Ties with Lebanese Prime Minister

Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Sheibani held a phone call with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to discuss regional developments, particularly the ongoing Israeli aggressions in southern Lebanon, and explore avenues for enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Sheibani engaged in a phone conversation with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. The discussion, as reported by SANA and published by the Mehr News Agency, focused on the latest regional developments. Central to their talks were the persistent aggressions by the Zionist regime in southern Lebanon and their implications for regional security and stability.

Furthermore, Al-Sheibani and Salam deliberated on the bilateral relations between Syria and Lebanon. They explored methods to further develop these ties and bolster joint cooperation across various sectors beneficial to both nations and their peoples. Both leaders reaffirmed their support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and stability.

The Syrian Foreign Minister also underscored Syria’s solidarity and stance alongside Lebanon during the call.
