Trump’s VP Claims Progress in Technical Talks with Iran

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, J.D. Vance, Vice President to U.S. President Donald Trump, stated on Monday that the United States is making progress in technical negotiations with Iran. Speaking from Qatar, Vance requested assistance in establishing a mechanism to track the destination of Iranian assets.
Vance, whose country has a history of reneging on international agreements, asserted that verbal assurances from Iran are insufficient, and observable behavior is paramount. He further disclosed that Iran’s assets will not be released until tangible progress is made in the ongoing negotiations. This development follows President Trump’s withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal, known as the JCPOA, in 2018, a move that also contravened UN Security Council Resolution 2231.
