Wall Street Journal Reports on IAEA Inspectors’ Presence in Iran

The Wall Street Journal has reported on the presence of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors in Iran, with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance hailing the return of inspectors as a significant step.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lawrence Norman, a correspondent for The Wall Street Journal, stated on Monday via his social media account on X that inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency have been returning to Iran since last autumn to visit facilities such as Bushehr, TRR, and other nuclear sites.

The Wall Street Journal correspondent further elaborated, emphasizing the importance of specifics: “Can they visit Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan? And for what purpose? And the new enrichment facilities they never reached?”

This development comes as U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, speaking at a press conference in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, on Monday regarding consultations with Iran, claimed that Tehran has agreed to the return of IAEA inspectors, describing it as a very important step.
