Hezbollah Denounces Israeli Aggression, Cites Civilian Casualties in Nabatieh

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hezbollah announced that the Israeli army opened fire with automatic weapons on a group of civilians in the Al-Deir neighborhood of Nabatieh on Wednesday at 11:30 AM. The civilians were reportedly clearing roads and recovering bodies from under rubble. The surprise attack by the Israeli military led to the martyrdom of two civilians, including a municipal employee, with several others sustaining injuries.

Hezbollah warned that this action by the enemy constitutes a blatant violation of the ceasefire, to which the resistance had previously adhered. Earlier, Israeli warplanes had targeted an excavator that was engaged in clearing debris from a previously damaged house in the town of Nabatieh Al-Fawqa.

Al Jazeera also reported that Israeli forces fired on Lebanese citizens in the Al-Deir neighborhood of Nabatieh Al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon. Civil defense forces in southern Lebanon stated that the Israeli forces’ shooting at citizens in Nabatieh Al-Fawqa resulted in one martyr and two wounded.
