Trump Claims Major Concessions from Iran Amidst Ongoing Conflict

U.S. President Donald Trump has asserted that Iran is offering significant concessions as the conflict intensifies, a claim made as the U.S. reportedly sought negotiations to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, in statements reported by Al Jazeera via the Mehr News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has continued to justify his administration’s setbacks in the conflict against Iran, alleging that Iran is providing substantial concessions. Trump further claimed that the war is progressing favorably and that the United States is leading to victory by a significant margin.

These assertions come at a time when the United States, which initially designated the fall of Iran’s government and the dismantling of its nuclear program as primary objectives of its offensive, was compelled to negotiate with Tehran to secure the passage through the Strait of Hormuz. This negotiation led to the acknowledgment of Iran’s nuclear and missile programs and engagement with Iranian officials whose overthrow had been an intended goal.
