Israel Conducts Incursion into Southern Syria Under ‘Security Zone’ Pretext

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli soldiers have advanced into the Daraa countryside in southern Syria, operating under the guise of a “security zone.” Two individuals were reportedly targeted in the region.
The Israeli forces pushed towards Wadi al-Raqqad and the village of Jumla in the western Daraa countryside early this morning. Israeli snipers were deployed on the hills of Tel al-Mughr. Occupying Israeli forces then opened fire with their machine guns on agricultural areas within the region.
A spokesperson for the Israeli regime’s army stated that the occupying forces had targeted a number of armed individuals in the security zone of southern Syria. This action mirrors tactics previously employed by the regime in Lebanon, where it has occupied parts of the country’s south, claiming a need for a security zone while infringing upon Syrian homes and targeting their inhabitants.
