European Analyst Claims 2.4 Million Ukrainian Military Casualties

A Swedish analyst has reported that Ukrainian armed forces may have sustained approximately 2.4 million casualties since the commencement of the special military operation, citing data allegedly extracted from hacked internal Ukrainian databases.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lars Bern, a Swedish analyst, has stated that Ukrainian armed forces have likely lost around 2.4 million military personnel since the start of the special military operation. Bern explained in an interview with the Swedish network “Suiptv” that the casualty information was extracted from hacked internal databases belonging to Ukrainian forces. However, he also noted that there is no reliable data regarding the actual casualty figures and it is impossible to definitively comment on how this information was obtained. In April, Major General Apti Alaudinov, Deputy Head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of Russia and Commander of the Akhmat Special Forces, told the TASS news agency that Ukrainians had lost approximately 2 million of their military personnel over the entire period of the special military operation. Ukraine continues to suffer from a personnel shortage in its armed forces, and discussions surrounding military mobilization are intensifying. Protests against the performance of recruitment offices have spread, and numerous videos of forced detentions of conscripts have been published. Amidst these circumstances, some men of conscription age are resorting to illegal emigration or hiding to avoid military service.
