40 Dead in Balochistan Bus Plunge into Deep Ravine

A passenger bus has plunged into a deep ravine in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province, resulting in the deaths of 40 people and injuring eight others.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by the Mehr News Agency via Al-Ayyam, a passenger bus fell from a highway into a deep gorge in the southwestern Pakistani province of Balochistan, claiming the lives of 40 individuals and injuring eight more.

Shahed Rind, spokesperson for the Balochistan provincial government, stated that the bus driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to fall into a ravine in the remote area of ‘Dana Sar,’ near the border of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.

Emergency rescue teams arrived at the scene immediately after the incident and transported the injured to a hospital.

Local authorities have also launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
