Iraq’s Diwaniyah Province Announces Two-Day Closure for Martyr Leader’s Funeral

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the province of Diwaniyah in Iraq has announced a public holiday on Wednesday and Thursday. This decision was made by the provincial council to provide an opportunity for the general public to participate in the funeral ceremonies for Iran’s Martyr Leader.
State departments and government institutions in Diwaniyah will be closed during these two days. This measure aims to facilitate broad public engagement in the solemn occasion.
Several other Iraqi provinces have also declared the aforementioned days as holidays in commemoration of the funeral procession for Iran’s Martyr Leader. The procession is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 8, in the holy cities of Karbala and Najaf.
