US Intelligence Agency Begins New Round of Layoffs

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a new wave of layoffs has commenced within the United States intelligence apparatus. Bill Evanina, the acting Director of National Intelligence, has confirmed the start of a third round of personnel reductions, as reported by Mehr News Agency, citing Reuters.
This initiative is understood to be a component of President Donald Trump’s broader strategy to reorganize the nation’s security and intelligence bodies and to implement cost-saving measures across government operations.
President Trump had previously indicated to The Wall Street Journal his directive to Evanina regarding the necessity of downsizing the organization, asserting that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence had become excessively large and inefficient.
