Yemen Denounces Saudi Airport Attack as Ongoing Aggression, Vows Response

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data published by Mehr News Agency, quoting Al Mayadeen network, indicates that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Yemeni government, supported by the Ansar Allah movement in Sana’a, announced in a letter to the international community that the Saudi government’s attack on Sana’a Airport is a continuation of this government’s persistent aggression against Yemen, and that the Riyadh government is responsible for this aggression and all its consequences.
In this letter, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sana’a government also emphasized the certainty of a response to the Saudi aggression and the lifting of the blockade on Sana’a International Airport.
The Yemeni Scholars Association condemned Saudi Arabia’s attack on Sana’a Airport.
The association declared that the Saudi-led coalition’s attack on Sana’a Airport is a “new aggressive act against the Yemeni people, a clear violation of the country’s airspace, and an affront to its independence.”
The Yemeni Scholars Association also emphasized that the country’s revolutionary leaders have the right to make decisive decisions that deter the aggressor, punish the defiant, repel the evil of the criminal, and break their oppressive siege.
In a related development, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti stated in an interview with Al Mayadeen network that Yemen possesses tools against Saudi Arabia, including setting fire to oil fields and destroying the country’s airports, which are more painful for the Riyadh government than closing the Bab al-Mandab Strait. He added that Saudi Arabia will have no choice but to stop the aggression, lift the blockade, and abandon interference in Yemen’s affairs.
