U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly given his approval for Saudi Arabia’s high-risk operations against Yemen’s Houthi movement, according to Axios. This comes after Saudi-led coalition airstrikes targeted Sana’a International Airport.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Axios has reported that U.S. President Donald Trump has voiced his agreement and support for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s move to conduct high-risk attacks against Yemen’s Houthi movement. The report cited Al Mayadeen television network, with data published by Mehr News Agency.
This news emerged hours after the Saudi-led coalition conducted multiple airstrikes on Sana’a International Airport. In response to this action, the Yemeni armed forces announced an attack on Abha Airport in southern Saudi Arabia, declaring that Riyadh’s strike on Sana’a Airport would not go unanswered.
