US Representative Accuses Israeli Military of Lying About West Bank Detention

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Representative Ro Khanna has accused the Israeli military of lying about his recent detention in the West Bank. Khanna, a Democrat, stated that Israeli soldiers were directly involved in his apprehension, contradicting the military’s official account.
Khanna elaborated that the Israeli army has denied his detention by its soldiers, claiming they were merely present to disperse a crowd. “They are lying,” Khanna asserted.
The U.S. representative detailed that during his visit to the West Bank, he was detained by armed Israeli settlers who were occupying Palestinian land. He further stated that four Israeli soldiers arrived at the scene and were complicit in the incident. The individuals who detained him and several other American citizens were reportedly connected to an Israeli settler named Yinnon Levy, whom Khanna identified as someone who murders Palestinians.
Khanna called upon Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to launch an investigation into the involved settlers and the four Israeli soldiers.
Previously, Khanna had announced that armed Israeli settlers had blocked their vehicle with weapons.
