Yemen Witnesses Massive Protests Condemning Saudi Aggression

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Al-Masirah TV reported massive demonstrations in Saada province condemning the Saudi-led coalition’s aggression against the country. Similar large-scale public protests were held across Yemen, including in Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah, Al-Dhale’e, Ibb, Taiz, and Amran. Participants expressed strong condemnation of Saudi Arabia’s continued incursions and its attack on Sana’a International Airport. These gatherings were held with a declaration of wartime readiness aimed at ending the aggression, lifting the siege, and fully supporting the decisions of the leadership and armed forces.
In Raymah and Al-Mahwit provinces, tens of thousands marched, denouncing the attack on Sana’a Airport, supporting the armed forces, and appreciating the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in aiding the lifting of the siege. In Ibb province, students joined public marches, viewing the attack on Sana’a Airport as a continuation of the aggression that began in 2015. Hajjah and Al-Dhale’e provinces also witnessed fervent public gatherings, where participants condemned the Saudi “crime” and demanded a decisive and immediate response from the armed forces. The statements issued from these gatherings emphasized absolute support for the armed forces’ declaration and full delegation of authority to Sana’a’s leadership to choose any deterrent option.
In Taiz province, residents held an armed gathering, declaring a “general alert.” Responding to the call of the leader of Ansar Allah in Yemen, they announced their readiness to fight for the complete liberation and consolidation of Yemen’s sovereignty and independence. In Amran province, an armed gathering was also held, endorsing the armed forces’ statement and announcing the reopening of military training centers as part of general mobilization efforts to reclaim national rights and end the siege.
Participants in all Yemeni gatherings underscored four strategic principles: the “legitimate right to respond,” “absolute delegation of authority to the sovereign,” “appreciation for Iran and its efforts to help break the siege of Yemen,” and “readiness for battle.”
