Iraqi Resistance Warns Against Corruption, Emphasizes National Sovereignty

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency quoting the Iraqi Al-Maalomah news agency, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq stated: At a time when the Zionist-American war machine is slaughtering innocent people in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and Yemen, sending a government delegation to Washington is inconsistent with national dignity and the blood of martyrs.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq clarified that the continued presence of American forces in Iraq constitutes occupation and must end according to the announced timetable.
The statement warned against replacing “military occupation” with a “more dangerous economic occupation,” emphasizing that liberating Iraq’s economy from the dominance of the dollar and companies affiliated with the occupiers is the inherent duty of any national government.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq also cautioned that any contract or agreement the government intends to sign must be transparent and presented to parliament for review, rather than evading legal oversight by changing names such as “Memorandum of Understanding” or “Cooperation Framework.”
The statement concluded by deeming any normalization of relations with the Israeli regime a great betrayal and declared that Iraq’s sovereignty is not a commodity for trade and the option of defending the legitimate interests of the homeland remains steadfast.
