US Military Planners Consider Wide Range of Options Against Cuba, CBS Reports

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, CBS News has reported that U.S. military planners are reviewing a wide array of options for possible action against Cuba, including an airborne assault by the military involving thousands of American soldiers.
The report, citing several U.S. officials familiar with the discussions, indicated that an airborne attack would be carried out by the 101st Airborne Division, the only unit trained for such a mission.
These officials emphasized that this planning does not signify a decision by President Donald Trump or the Pentagon to initiate operations.
The report further stated that any military action against Cuba would face significant challenges, as substantial U.S. military resources remain engaged in operations against Iran.
