Iranian Forces Strike US Military Targets in Kuwait

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a statement detailing recent military actions against US forces stationed in Kuwait. The IRGC claimed responsibility for strikes that destroyed the ground forces’ support center in Arifjan and the radar system at the American Ali Al Salem Air Base. The statement asserted that these actions resulted in the death of several American military personnel.
The IRGC’s statement, titled “In the Name of Allah, the Vanquisher of Tyrants,” accused the United States of resuming hostilities after a period of negotiations, despite Iran‘s perceived strengthening. It characterized the US approach as a shift from direct confrontation to “war crimes” and “unscrupulousness,” alleging attacks on civilian infrastructure such as hospitals, bridges, railways, airports, and ports, leading to civilian casualties.
Citing the Quranic verse, “And if you are attacked, [then you fight back] with an attack of the same kind as that which you were attacked,” the IRGC addressed host nations allowing US military presence for attacks against Iran. It warned that these countries should prepare for a reciprocal response and advised their civil defense units to protect citizens from potential targets.
However, the statement indicated that military targets were specifically chosen for the response in an effort to allow the American adversary an opportunity to change its “unscrupulous approach.” The IRGC further detailed that its ground forces, under the operation “Nasr 2” with the motto “Ya Abolfazl Al-Abbas (PBUH),” targeted the assembly point of occupying forces at the ground forces support center in Arifjan, resulting in casualties among American personnel. Simultaneously, a drone attack reportedly destroyed the radar at Ali Al Salem Air Base.
In addition to these actions, IRGC ground forces also reportedly destroyed a facility for the maintenance of weapons and a drone hangar. The statement concluded by affirming that the retaliatory actions by the combatants are ongoing, quoting, “If Allah helps you, none can overcome you.”
