Gaza Conflict Escalates as Israeli Forces Kill 13 Palestinians in 24 Hours

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli army continued its ceasefire violations on the 283rd day of the war, heavily targeting various areas of the Gaza Strip. These assaults over the last 24 hours led to the martyrdom of 13 Palestinians and left dozens injured, according to Al Mayadeen network.
The bodies of two martyrs were transferred to the Al-Shifa Medical Complex from Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, following artillery bombardment by the Israeli regime.
In Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, a woman was martyred the previous night, and several Palestinians, including her husband, were injured due to artillery shelling on Al-Kashkuh Street.
Additionally, early this morning, a number of Palestinian citizens were injured when an apartment in the Al-Madinah building on Al-Ayidiya Street in western Gaza City was bombed.
Yesterday afternoon, Israeli forces committed a massacre in the Al-Naser neighborhood in western Gaza City, resulting in the martyrdom of 5 Palestinians. An Israeli fighter jet targeted an apartment in a residential building, causing numerous casualties inside and outside the structure. The deceased were identified as members of a family: father Adham Ibrahim Shaaban Nseman (42), mother Marwa Nayef Mohammed Nseman (39), and their children: Arwa (8), Yahya (17), and Ibrahim (15). Only one child from the family, who was not home at the time of the incident, survived.
Amidst these aggressions, Palestinian citizen Ahmad Mohammed Ahmad Al-Bardawil, a resident of the Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah, was martyred by occupation forces’ gunfire in the Al-Frousiya area in northern Gaza.
Prior to this, three citizens were martyred and two others injured by artillery shelling targeting a gathering of civilians east of Muftaraq Al-Dawla in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood. Medical sources identified the martyrs as Salem Tawfiq Abu Zur (48), Ahmad Nemer Abu Zur (20), and Loay Nemer Al-Mbaidh (18).
Medical sources also reported the martyrdom of young Palestinian Muhammad Awais, who was injured last Friday after being targeted in the Muftaraq Al-Shaabiya area in Gaza City.
Palestinian sources stated that 19 martyrs and 60 injured individuals have been transferred to Gaza Strip hospitals over the past 48 hours. Official statistics indicate that since the ceasefire began on October 11, the total number of martyrs has reached 1,144, with 3,703 injured. The remains of 802 martyrs have also been recovered during this period.
Consequently, the total death toll since the commencement of Israel’s comprehensive aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,269, with 173,811 injured.
The Israeli occupation regime continues its systematic genocide in the Gaza Strip, violating the ceasefire through aerial attacks, bombings, the destruction of residential homes and buildings, and the direct targeting of civilians.
