Russia Claims Destruction of Nearly 500 Ukrainian Drones and Two Guided Bombs

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Monday that its forces intercepted and destroyed nearly 500 Ukrainian drones and two guided aerial bombs in the past 24 hours. The ministry also reported that around 1,700 Ukrainian servicemen are encircled in the Kharkiv region.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense issued a statement on Monday detailing significant Ukrainian aerial assets destroyed over the preceding day. The statement, as reported by Sputnik, indicated that approximately 1,700 Ukrainian militants have been encircled in the Kharkiv region, with the Northern unit continuing to tighten the blockade and eliminate Ukrainian forces.
The defense ministry further specified that military sites and facilities storing drones and related components belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces were targeted. In the past 24 hours, a total of two guided aerial bombs and 498 drones operated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces were intercepted and neutralized.
