Yemen’s Supreme Political Council Warns Saudi Arabia Over Escalation Consequences

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Supreme Political Council of Yemen has once again condemned attacks on civilians and detainees and violations of the country’s sovereignty, deeming these actions a highly dangerous development. The Council stated that Saudi Arabia bears complete responsibility for these actions and their consequences.
The Council issued a warning to Saudi Arabia, asserting that the targeting of civilians and detainees, along with the violation of the Republic of Yemen’s sovereignty, will not go unpunished. Yemen affirmed that it will not stand idly by in the face of continued escalation by Saudi Arabia and will act within its full and legitimate right to defend its people, sovereignty, and interests.
Addressing Saudi Arabia, the Supreme Political Council stated, “The Saudi enemy must know that any escalation will have consequences.” The Council further warned that the continuation of this approach by the Saudi enemy will usher the situation into a new phase, for the outcomes and consequences of which Saudi Arabia will be held entirely accountable.
In conclusion, the Council emphasized that the shedding of Yemeni blood is unacceptable and that the rights of the Yemeni people and the country’s sovereignty are not subjects that can be ignored, negotiated, or compromised.
