Russia Threatens Nuclear Strike on Lithuania Over Potential NATO Nuclear Deployments

The Kremlin has issued a stern warning to Lithuania, stating that the country’s territory would fall within the range of Russian nuclear weapons if it proceeds with lifting its legal ban on the deployment of nuclear arms.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Kremlin announced today, Friday, that Lithuania’s territory would be within the range of Russian nuclear weapons should the country lift its legal prohibition on the stationing of nuclear armaments. Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Kremlin, stated in a release that if Vilnius decides to deploy nuclear weapons on its soil, the nation’s territory will be brought within the reach of Russia’s nuclear arsenal.

Peskov further elaborated that the deployment of nuclear weapons on a country’s territory signifies that these weapons are being targeted against a specific party. Such an action, he cautioned, could mark a highly perilous turning point in the escalating tensions.
