Trump Claims Iran Conflict Will End Post-US Elections, Praises China Ties

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed in an interview with Fox News that a war with Iran would cease after the U.S. midterm congressional elections.

He also announced that Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled to visit the United States in two weeks, adding that he maintains a very good relationship with the Chinese president.

Trump addressed espionage concerns, stating, “People say he spies on us, yes, well, we spy on him too, and we are very good at it.” He further remarked that U.S.-China relations, previously very poor, have now significantly improved and are progressing well.

The president indicated his openness to China establishing automobile manufacturing plants in the U.S., provided they hire American workers. However, he firmly stated that he would not permit China to produce cheap cars in Mexico and export them across the border to the United States.

Reiterating a previously stated naming convention for the Gulf of Mexico, Trump declared it was no longer the Gulf of Mexico but the “American Gulf.”

In his discussion with Fox News, a media outlet considered close to him, Trump described himself as America’s savior and reiterated his belief that Iran would be defeated in any conflict.

The U.S. President also claimed victory over China in the field of artificial intelligence, highlighting its profound importance. “There is a famous phrase that whoever wins artificial intelligence, wins the real victory. The importance of artificial intelligence is to this extent; it is more important than the internet. It may even be that artificial intelligence is the biggest revolution in history,” he stated.
