Oman Postpones Regional Strait of Hormuz Meeting to Foster Agreement
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Oman’s Foreign Minister, Badr Albusaidi, has announced a shift in the schedule for a regional meeting concerning the Strait of Hormuz. The decision was made to facilitate the necessary groundwork for reaching agreements and bolstering cooperation among countries in the region.
In an official statement, the Omani Foreign Minister declared that the meeting, originally slated to convene on Monday in Salalah to discuss the Strait of Hormuz, has been postponed.
Albusaidi explained the rationale behind the decision, stating that the postponement is intended to ensure that optimal conditions are in place for securing agreements.
He emphasized, “We remain committed to fostering dialogue that supports lasting stability and cooperation in the region.”
The Omani regional meeting was scheduled to address issues pertinent to the Strait of Hormuz and maritime transit arrangements in this critical waterway.
