US Confirms Next Lebanon-Israel Talks to be Held in Rome
The United States has announced that the next round of official negotiations between Lebanon and Israel will take place in Rome in October, aimed at discussing the implementation of a trilateral framework. This follows a planned meeting between the ambassadors of both nations in Washington.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. Embassy in Beirut issued a statement on Sunday announcing that a meeting between the ambassadors of Lebanon and Israel in Washington is scheduled for next week to discuss the implementation of a trilateral framework. The statement further indicated that the upcoming round of official negotiations between Lebanon and Israel will be held in Rome in October.
This development comes after previous reports suggested that a meeting between Lebanon and the Israeli regime would not take place this month, citing the upcoming interim congressional elections in the United States as the reason.
