Turkish Foreign Minister: Focus on US-Iran Talks Amidst Middle East Economic Strain

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkey’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, has declared that the ongoing crisis in the Middle East has reached an economically unsustainable point. Fidan highlighted that Saudi Arabia may have military requirements that will be examined within the framework of a trilateral agreement with Pakistan.

The Turkish Foreign Minister stressed that it is unacceptable for Saudi Arabia to be involved in a conflict between the United States and Iran, particularly when the Kingdom itself does not wish to enter such a confrontation. He further revealed that proposals aimed at ending the conflict related to Yemen have been conveyed to all involved parties.

Concluding his remarks, Fidan noted the progressively complex nature of the situation, reiterating that Turkey’s primary focus is on ensuring that the ongoing negotiations between Washington and Tehran achieve a positive outcome.
