Europe Faces Jet Fuel Shortage in Fourth Quarter Amid Global Supply Disruptions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Europe is set to experience a jet fuel shortage in the fourth quarter of this year, with a projected daily deficit of 510,000 barrels. This comes as the global supply of jet fuel remains hampered by ongoing international conflicts.

Consultancy firm Energy Aspects has indicated that Europe will face this shortfall during the specified period. The situation arises even as South Korea has increased its jet fuel exports to Europe. Data from commodity intelligence firm Kpler shows that Europe’s jet fuel imports from South Korea have reached 129,000 barrels per day as of September, marking the highest volume since October 2022.

The global conflicts have disrupted nearly half of Europe’s jet fuel imports, exacerbating the supply concerns.
