Russia Claims Capture of Two Settlements in Donetsk and Kharkiv Regions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that its forces have liberated two new settlements in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions. Sputnik Arabic cited Mehr News Agency as reporting the development.

The ministry’s statement indicated that units from the “Center” group captured the settlement of Vesele Pole in Donetsk. Concurrently, Russian forces secured the settlement of Krykhlivka in the Kharkiv region as part of their offensive operations. Russia also stated that efforts to liberate several other settlements in the Kharkiv region are continuing.

In its update on the Donetsk axis, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its forces engaged and inflicted significant losses on several Ukrainian brigades. The ministry claimed the destruction of over 205 Ukrainian soldiers, one armored vehicle, 19 vehicles, and two artillery pieces.

Moscow further elaborated on the ongoing Russian operations across the Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions. These operations reportedly target Ukrainian energy infrastructure, production facilities, and depots storing drones, ammunition, and fuel.
